1. Acceptance of these terms

Welcome to Madrugo (operated through https://madrugo.com/en). By accessing our website, signing up to the web app (/app), or using our companion apps for Mac, iPhone or Apple Watch, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any of the provisions set out here, please refrain from using the service.

2. Description of the service

Madrugo is a visual personal operating system and Mission Control console that brings together email, calendar, to-dos, reminders and weather through interactive companion robots.

Mission Control web console:Interactive operations panel to view your 24-hour timeline and filter out what matters.

Companion robots (Mac, web):Configurable floating visual assistants (Executive, Kawaii, Futurist, Minimal) that surface relevant updates.

Mobile and watch integration:Sync with iPhone and Apple Watch via WCSession and live notifications (Live Activities / APNs).

AI-assisted actions:Automatic task extraction, email thread summaries and assisted deletion or archiving.

3. Third-party integrations (Google Workspace and Apple)

Madrugo optionally integrates with third-party services through standard secure protocols:

Google Workspace APIs: integration via OAuth 2.0 to access Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Tasks and Google Contacts / Directory. Use of this data strictly complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements.
Apple & iCloud ecosystem: secure IMAP connection for iCloud Mail (using an app-specific password) and sync with Apple Contacts, Calendar and Tasks on Apple devices.

4. Progressive permission model and user control

Madrugo follows a "read first, write on demand" approach. When you first connect your Google or Apple account, we only request the read permissions strictly needed to build your visual Mission Control.

Explicit confirmation for write actions:Operations that modify external data (such as sending an email, creating a calendar event or marking a task as done) require prior explicit consent through a scope elevation request (step-up OAuth). You can refuse or revoke these permissions at any time.

5. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

You agree to make appropriate and lawful use of the platform. The following is expressly prohibited:

Using the service to send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or for unlawful activities.
Attempting to decompile, reverse-engineer or circumvent the app's security and encryption mechanisms (AES-256-GCM).
Deliberately overloading the platform's APIs with unauthorised automation scripts.
Selling, reselling or commercialising access to Madrugo without prior written authorisation.

6. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the design, trade marks, logos, companion characters (Executive, Kawaii, Futurist, Minimal), source code, interfaces and content of Madrugo belong exclusively to Madrugo. You retain full ownership of all your personal data, emails and content entered into the platform.

7. Limitation of liability and warranties

Madrugo is provided as is and subject to availability. Although we make every reasonable effort to ensure maximum uptime and accuracy in our artificial intelligence analysis:

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or free from unforeseen errors.
We are not liable for outages or policy changes in third-party APIs (Google Workspace, Apple, etc.).
You remain ultimately responsible for reviewing the content of any email or event before confirming it is sent or created.

8. Contact, governing law and changes

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Changes take effect once published at https://madrugo.com/en/terms.
